Amended Tournament Information

All competitors will be able to enter the competition online without current 2010 registration and insurance cards, however athletes need to have already lodged their 2010 registration application prior to competition.

Due to the influx of registrations to TA, the administration has been overwhelmed and need more time to process 2010 registrations.

We have disconnected the checkpoint on the online system so that all competitors can bypass this point. We will retrospectively check registrations with TA at a later date.

We have amended the competition times for this weekends competition, this is inline with the competition times used last year. The information in the comp package was a typing error.

Taekwondo Victoria, like many organisations, relies on some help from volunteers to run their competitions throughout the year. Taekwondo Victoria Demo Team Seminar

Taekwondo Victoria will be introducing a new “arm” to the Team Victoria program in 2010.  For those who have not heard the news yet, the World Taekwondo Federation will be introducing a new event at future World Poomsae (Technical) Championships, DEMONSTRATION TEAMS!

 For those of you already in a club Demo Team, this is exciting news.  But for those of you whose clubs are unable to offer this form of training, Taekwondo Victoria will be starting a Demo Team this year.  Apart from World Championships, Taekwondo Victoria and Taekwondo Australia will also be running Demonstration Team competitions this year.

All applications for this seminar MUST be via your Head Instructor.

Team Victoria Poomsae Training Camp

January 30 / 31 2010 Venue:- Factory 2, 26 Bridge St, Eltham (Behind Repco) Park in the underground carpark opposite (Enter via Bunnings)

Session Times :

• Session One     - Saturday 9.00am – 12.00pm
• Session Two     - Saturday 1.00 pm – 4.00pm
• Session Three  - Sunday 9.00am – 12.00pm

NOTE: This camp will serve as the introduction to the new Team Victoria Demonstration Team (session Two), as well as part of the selection process for the TVP “A” Squad.

Belgium Open Challenge Cup -  Poomsae
